Description:

Ø  Replaced periodic batch jobs with WebSphere to populate an ODS database in near real-time

Ø  Established standards to use ODS database for real-time operational reporting and EDW database for heavy analytics or historical reporting

Ø  ODS database also serves as a data source for Web APIs returning slowly changing master data or situations where frequent API requests would negatively impact the transactional application

Ø  Building a team of Application and Data Architects to design solutions and oversee development by offshore teams

Ø  Implementing an API-Centric architecture to provide a reusable back-end that supports multiple applications and integrations

Ø  Utilizing Microsoft Azure's API Management to provide extra security and a developer portal for publicly exposed Web APIs

Ø  Migrating legacy web applications to MVC and Responsive UI using C# .Net and Telerik controls

Ø  Designing and implementing a multi-tenant environment to provide customers with the ability to load their own Flight data into Atlas Air's custom-built operational dashboard web application

Ø  Implementing Salesforce.com for quick development of internal, basic workflow application Building native mobile apps (Android and iOS) to fulfill requirements for background data synchronization, offline functionality, notifications,

Ø  Redesigning mobile architecture to use Google Firebase database synchronization and eliminate custom code for messaging and background data synchronization

Ø  Transitioning WebSphere integrations from point-to-point to publish/subscribe

Ø  Implementing Tableau for self-service reporting
