Job Description

Job Description (Solr Search) Required Skills and Experience: ? 5+ years of experience in web application development using J2EE, Search related technologies (Solr, Endeca, Elastic Search etc.) ? 2+ years of hands on experience in designing and developing Web applications using Solr 6.1 ? Excellent hands on experience in the end to end implementation of search applications covering both indexing and querying ? Experience in successfully implementing high performance Solr search applications for large data volume using SolrCloud ? Experience in setting up and administrating the configuration of the Solr Search Engine ? Experience in working on advanced Solr features such as faceted search and filtering, scaling, query autocomplete ? Experience in fine tuning search query using scoring, boosting, synonym, analyzers and stats. ? Experience in extracting and indexing content of many different formats such as PDF, XML, CSV, JSON, Office Docs and Images ? Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases such as Oracle ? Experience in System configuration such as clustering, node configuration, and shard allocation are pluses ? Good working knowledge of Design Patterns, UML and Single Sign On (SSO) ? Experience in working in Agile and Iterative Development Methodologies ? Experience in working with Geo-diversified teams ? Excellent Oral and Written communication skills, Customer Interfacing Skills and Documentation Skills ? Having knowledge or working experience of Elastic Search will be a plus Job Description: ? Drive requirements discussion with end-users/customers & documentation ? Develop POC/functional prototypes using Solr Search ? Design and Development of system and its enhancements ? Create Test Plans & Perform Functional Testing including regression testing ? Deployment, Implementation and Post-production support
