Automated Test Development Engineer
•Automate regression test cases.
•It is essential that this person has test- driven automated test development experience with either Cucumber and Java or Cucumber and Ruby. Overall 60-80% of this person's time will be developing code in Java or Ruby.
•Facilitate development of an SQA framework of agreed upon software development standards and procedures to be followed throughout the SDLC.
•Ensure that test cases exist and are executed for issues and functionalities to be promoted to production.
•Design, develop and implement automated tools, utilities and test infrastructure for validating product features and interfaces.
•Participate in ongoing product specification and code reviews, and translating customer requirements and product goals into appropriate tests.
Required Skills:
•Working knowledge of Cucumber
•Java and/or Ruby experience
•Great debugging skills
•Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration
•Minimum of three years of systems/server side programming in a professional environment.
•Minimum of 1 year of testing experience in a professional environment and/or an interest in this type of development.
•Working knowledge of SQL, MS Access, or VBA.
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
