Skills Required and Job Description:
| MOI :: Telephonic followed by face to face • Define ETL testing process and validate business rules and policies to data and transformations including all data pipelines on Hadoop Clusters, monitoring data activities in Kafka, Spark, etc • Understand the data model and ETL flow • Validate the data from the data sources through each step of the extract and transformation process including final load in the data warehouse • Develop and review test plans and test scripts • Ensure accurate data and reporting, in terms of content and infrastructure by researching and identifying source of errors • Write SQL scripts to extract data from various databases and systems and compare against data warehouse • Perform root cause and trend analysis to identify recurring patterns of errors • Ensure data standards/integrity are maintained in order to deliver the highest quality products • Develop and automate integration, functional, and system test scripts • Present the findings to project stakeholders Minimum Qualifications: • Experience in large scale data warehouse projects • Solid understanding of data architecture and ETL workflows • Strong SQL analysis skills with experience writing simple to complex SQL queries • Exposure to big data testing, Kafka and Spark streaming • Knowledge in Java & Informatica preferable, but not required • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills • Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery |
