Title: Sr. Hadoop Developer with SPARK
Location: Fremont CA
Duration : 3-6 months
Job Description
Design, development and implementation of scalable and high-performance batch and streaming applications on Hadoop platform as part of our software product Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design Propose best practices and standards.
Define installation, upgrade, sizing and performance tuning guidelines Define security and data privacy strategy in a multi-tenant environment
Requirements:
2+ years of Hadoop development experience in a production environment a
2+ years of Preferably with both batch and event streaming type applications and on Hortonwork's Hadoop distribution
5+ years of Java programming experience
Substantial experiences with all or some of the following technologies / tools or similar o MapReduce, Yarn o HBase, Hive o Kafka o Sqoop, Flume o Storm, Spark o Oracle Xquery o Solr, Elasticsearch o Esper or similar CEP engines
Experience with Hadoop deployment on cloud a plus
