Position: Unix Admin           

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 months CTH

Role: Integrated L1.5 support (Application + Infra) – Unix, DB, Apps

 

We are looking for L1/L1.5 level Unix Admins with DB experience. 

Job Description:

•             Familiarity with Communications business, more specifically the cable business

•             High level Understanding of BSS/OSS flows

•             Service Management functions and communication model

•             Experience with Unix, Linux, Solaris & Windows

•             Good understanding on Unix shell scripting, Crontab Jobs

•             Good understanding on SysEdge, Wily configuration and monitoring

•             Basic DBA operations -  Oracle, MySQL and Sybase table navigation, indexing, partitioning and sql procedures

•             Nice to have XML request / responses analysis using XMLSpy or SOAP UI Tools and their configuration
