Job Description:
Responsible for delivering world class business and technology solutions that enable clients to become high performance businesses.
Must be professionals who have an interest in how business processes work and interact.
Need to apply skills in project management and leadership in implementation of business process technology, and organizational change.
Working knowledge of the client's industry/business area.
Architect a solution using OBIA/Oracle OBIEE to achieve a defined business outcome.
Possess skills in application design and configuration, technical architecture, integration, testing, conversion and deployment.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Working with client to define corporate KPI's and business intelligence corporate strategy
· Collaborate with business users to capture & define business requirements and define the appropriate data warehouse BI solution.
· Good background on Data models of at least 2 of ERP/CRM systems OracleR12/11i; SAP; PeopleSoft.
· Serve as the subject matter expert for data modeling in OBIEE, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, and DAC server.
· Expert in Industry leading ETL/Data Integration tools like Oracle Data Integrator; Oracle Warehouse Builder.
· Design and support OBIEE security model
· Develop technical design documents and BI specifications that incorporate OBIEE development standards & best practices
· Design, develop and implement OBIEE metadata/logical data models
· Design, develop and implement complex OBIEE user interface objects (e.g. reports, analytics, ad-hoc queries, dashboards, etc.
· Troubleshoot performance issues of OBIEE environment
· Perform GAP Analysis related to Data Models and ETL, creation of high-level and detailed design documentation, map client requirements into Siebel Analytics/OBIEE functionality
· Design, configure, and document logical and physical data models, presentation layer and ETL process and map configuration
· Configuration of in-scope functional and technical requirements based on design documents including data structures, data mapping, and related performance tuning
· Develop Test Plan including test scripts for Unit, System, and User Acceptance Testing including resolution of bugs.
Required Skills
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
· 2-3 successful implementations of Siebel Analytics - Answers, Dashboards, Reporting and Publishing
· Prefer candidate to have Siebel Analytics Certification 7.0 and greater. Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
· Familiarity with implementing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) custom data warehouse solutions.
· Strong technical knowledge of OBIEE admin/metadata tools, security, user interface designs, development and deployment of dashboards, analytics and performance management reports
· Ability to design logical and multi-dimensional data models
· Ability to design and develop BI Metadata Repository and identify areas of optimization
· Advanced knowledge of data warehouse development and maintenance
· Design and implement ODI Extract, Load and Transform (ELT) processes, programs and scripts.
· Expert in Industry leading ETL/Data Integration tools like Oracle Data Integrator; Oracle Warehouse Builder.
· Strong PL/SQL and SQL development and performance tuning skill.
