Role: eCommerce Developer – Microsoft Commerce Server

Location: Cincinnati Ohio

Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire (all candidates MUST be eligible for hire to be considered) EAD, GC, or Citizen

Mode of hire: Contract to hire

Estimated Start Date: ASAP 

Client: Kroger

Rate Range: $60/hr, please include candidates desired salary upon conversion

 

Position Description:

The eCommerce Developer will be part of the Digital Customer Team located at the Digital Customer Innovation Center in Blue Ash, Ohio.  The team consists of Mobile, eCommerce, and Customer-Facing Banner Site Solutions that will provide Kroger customers with a world class digital and mobile shopping experience.  This is a new and exciting environment with a "start-up", innovative culture and the opportunity to have a major impact on the future of digital shopping at Kroger.

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting software components in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices   
• Write quality code with a mind for minimizing support
• Show a willingness to take on challenges with accurate and quick resolution

 

Core Tools and Technologies Used:

• Microsoft Commerce Server, BizTalk Server, ASP.NET,C#, SQL Server, .Net framework and platform, Sterling OMS, Visual Studio, FAST,IIS, PowerShell
• All web developers should be familiar with HTML, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, XML, AJAX, CSS, JMS, UML and have some SQL development experience with SQL Server, Informix and/or DB2

 

Nice to have:

• WebSphere Commerce Server (Madison or Aurora), Sterling OMS, Java, J2EE, SQL, JSF, Stripes, Struts, Hibernate, JPA, Spring, Acegi Security, JBoss, Websphere, DB2, Informix, Eclipse, Ant, Maven, JDBC, JUnit, Eclipse
