Build in-house expertise with PowerBuilder to be able to customize the claims system. Help the client understand the PowerBuilder code when they migrate the PowerBuilder user interface to a web-based application.
The opportunity is for a PowerBuilder Developer to support company internal customer-facing applications (core claims processing system). The developer will maintain involvement in all phases of client server application development, providing technical analysis, design, and implementation of software systems and complex technical system components. Responsibilities include a primary focus on the design, development, unit testing and support of a PowerBuilder 9.0 Enterprise application, along with the maintenance, development, testing and support of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases. Secondary responsibilities will include .NET applications.
Tech environment: Oracle, T-SQL, DTS, MS SQL Server, PowerBuilder, C#, VB.net and Ironspeed Designer
