Client is looking for an SAP Training Developer resource to work in a dynamic environment with the Business Owners, Functional leads, and Contractors. This resource will be responsible for the design, development and updates of Client SAP training materials.
Consultant Training Developer Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Below are the tasks to be performed by the consultant Training Developer:
Ø Works with and under the direction of the SAP Training Program Administrator.
Ø Work with the SAP Support Team member to design, develop and update the SAP training materials, including:
o Course curricula development
o Concept slides, work instructions, and exercises for instructor-led courses
o Concept slides, guided exercises and assessments for eLearning courses
Ø Build data for assigned courses.
Ø Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for assigned courses.
Ø Prepare written recommendation in regard to business process, risk management, change management policies and procedures as it relates to SAP Training development and delivery.
Ø Coaching, training and mentoring training developers on training development techniques, the uPerform tool, and methodologies.
Ø Conducting quality assurance reviews of materials developed by the team and provides feedback and improvements recommendations.
Ø Support the business community in describing and defining training needs and documentation of new processes and procedures.
Ø Identify issues, challenges and gaps associated with the training program and materials and devise potential solutions.
Ø Collaborate with off-shore training developer resource, as needed.
The skills and experience required are:
Ø Previous experience on multiple SAP implementations and/or production support assignments of similar complexity and in organizations of similar size.
Ø A minimum of 3 years experience in developing training in at least one of the following SAP modules: Financials/Controlling, Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, Human Resources, Business Warehouse/Business Intelligence.
Ø A minimum of 2 years experience using the uPerform training development tool, with both parent documents and eLearning courses.
Ø Adept at synthesizing information and identifying short- and long-term impact of activities or decisions.
Ø Ability to present clear and compelling information in order to facilitate decision-making.
Ø High proficiency in MicroSoft Word, Power Point and Visio.
Ø Managing deadlines.
Ø Attention to detail.
Ø Excellent customer relations.
Ø Adaptability to change.
The following skills and experiences required are highly desirable:
Ø Developing and implementing a training strategy in an organization of similar size.
Ø Instructional System Design (ISD) experience.
Ø Systems/application instruction.
Ø Technical writing.
Ø Business analysis experience.
