Job Description:-
Primary Skills:
Extensive Java and J2EE development experience, preferably gained on complex multi-tier web-based business applications
Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:
• Extensive Java and J2EE development experience, preferably gained on complex multi-tier web-based business applications.
• Must have at least 6-8 yrs of hands on experience with working experience in minimum of 2 large projects.
• Extensive experience in UI development using Spring Framework and Spring MVC , JSP, Java script, Java Script Libraries , CSS , AJAX
• Extensive Experience in developing high performance webservices using CXF
• Extensive experience in Mule ESB. Ability to build Mule Flows , Transformations , Orchestration and XSLT
• Experience in development using Eclipse/STS
• Experience in developing JUnits
• Knowledge of Best practices that align with Industry standards
• Experience in Large scale application development, change management and config management
• Proven previous experience in presenting ideas and working closely with different stakeholder teams (requirements, architecture, design and test). Should be capable of working independently.
• Experience in working in P&C Insurance Business Domain required.
Desired Technical/Functional Skills:
• Java code review (ensuring that code meets industry and State Farm standards). Review and implement new tooling that will help with static analysis of code, including continuous integration practices
• Responsible for providing mentoring and guidance on how to maintain quality when working with complex solutions.
• Facilitate cross-team/discipline meetings to ensure expectations and impacts are understood.
• Support continuous improvement by encouraging feedback on quality practices through escalation to the Quality Engineer
• Monitor quality practices and level of maturity within the DC and provide metrics to DC Leadership
• Escalate common quality issues
Knowledge of Payments, Loan Disbursement, Billing.Web 2.0 technologies, CSS3, HTML5
