Position Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Job Description:

·         Must have 7-10 years of demonstrating solid Oracle Database Administrator skills in a RAC environment with Replication to multiple RAC Databases.

·         Must have 7-10 years of experience with Unix/Linux knowledge including Shell scripting.

·         5 years of experience with Data Warehousing with multiple terabyte databases.

·         Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and performance Packs. Experience setting up agents on remote sites and configuring alerts and notifications.

·         Experience tuning all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL. Knowledge of Oracle RAC and the performance and maintenance issues that are required for the environment.

·         Knowledge of Oracle Failover and Disaster Recovery with Data Guard.

·         Experience setting up backups executing RMAN backups using Third party tape mgt systems.

·         Knowledge of MySQL a plus, including backups and master-master replication.

·         Experience with various Oracle replication architectures and tools

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Demonstrated expertise with patching and upgrading Oracle DBMS and Grid Infrastructure.

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks on database projects and move them to completion.

·         Must be a self-starter and act proactively in a fast paced complex environment.

·         Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.

·         Willingness to learn new Oracle (and other) technologies.

·         Work experience in Oracle 12c.
