Job Title: SQL DBA
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6 months'

 

 

(Preferred GC, Citizens, TN)
 
Work Experience Requirements

 

·         Minimum of 5+ years relevant working knowledge of SQL database environments.

 

Skill Requirements

 

·         Hands on experience with Installation, upgrade, patching, configuration and management of SQL Server database objects and related products

·         Prepare and Implement DB Backups/Creation/Migration Solutions

·         Implement and creation of security policies and controls, User access and role management, logging, replication, reporting and recovery procedures

·         Manage data from multiple sources including other local databases, internal, external and possibly 3rd party data

·         Experience with disaster recovery, database maintenance, database optimization and database design.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence 

·         Familiar with other DBMS (Oracle,DB2, Informix)

·         Understanding business processes and how to supply information that reflects measurement of those processes.

·         Administration of all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, and procedures.

·         Backup of Databases & Database restoration, Data Uploads from external data source, Database Recover by using Third Party Tools.

·         Knowledge of Database Replication, SQL and Windows Clustering, Log Shipping & Mirroring.

·         Database architecture and administration,

·         Monitoring Alerts and jobs,

·         Performance Troubleshooting

·         Skillful Information in creation of commercial applications

·         Debugging complex queries, procedures, functions and Triggers
