Job Description:-

 

In-depth understanding of Redshift Database
• AWS Redshift Query Performance handling
• AWS core concepts
• Strong knowledge on RS system tables

Description:

Performance tuning for RS queries(Insert/Update/Delete)Report & ETL query performance tuning in AWS Redshift

Performance tuning for processes copying data from S3 to RedShift

Altering table structure for performance

Database Maintenance

o Vaccum scripts

o Indexing

o Rearranging sort/distribution keys

o Compression encoding

Cluster performance monitoring(if this is under our scope)Security(Creation of users, schemas & grants)Provide Redshift best practices suggestions

Implementing work load management

Optimizing environment from high I/O, Memory usage and Capacity Management
