Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business requirements and make recommendations for implementations
• Evaluate new technology and network processes
• Develop planning and implementation documentation
• Lead technology implementation/integration and oversee projects
• Implement performance-monitoring tools
• Develop test plans, network architecture and designs to meet business needs
• Support firewalls and switches
• Perform router administration, network analysis and monitoring

 

Skills and Experience Required:

• Ability to work with others to identify risks and find solutions to meet business needs
• Experience analyzing network infrastructure and identifying performance areas and point of failures
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN Trunking Protocol and network segmentation
• Experience with Cisco switches (Nexus, 6500)
• Familiarity of Layer 2 and Layer 3 infrastructure
• Experience with IPsec VPN and SSL VPN remote access
• Experience with Crossbeam network security
• Experience with Citrix NetScaler
• Experience with Check Point firewall cinfiguration

Desired Skills:

• Network Admission Control experience
• Experience with Cisco Nexus data center switching
• Ability to complete firewall audits
• Cisco certification
