Title: SQL / Cloud Engineer

Location: Redmond WA – local candidates only – in-person interview required.

Duration: 6+ months

C# is required, Azure PAAS, experience with Mirosoft databases, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS

Implementing real-time and batch integration technologies with on-prem and Cloud platforms such as Azure Service Bus and SSIS

Implementing database platforms on Azure (or RedShift, Pivotal)

Well versed with SQL Server and data navigation, DML, DDL, indexes, query design, and basic concepts of database administration (tablespaces, user administration, etc.)

Expert SQL knowledge and data modeling skills: conceptual, logical, physical, relational and dimensional

Proven experience with design, implement, tune, optimize, monitor and scale database and data technologies for mission-critical systems; solid understanding of software and hardware alternatives and configurations

Expert experience with data quality, data stewardship and the full enterprise data lifecycle

Designing data services (web services) and using cloud APIs

Preferred

Experience / knowledge with Azure data Lake and u-SQL

Experience using Power BI
