Job Title: Java Developer

 

Location: Memphis TN (downtown)

Duration: 6-18 months (this will be long term)

Start Date: ASAP

Min 5 years US exp with Refs

 

Job Purpose:

 

Web Software role provides technical leadership for the design, development, and implementation of distributed, multi-tier, J2EE software application. Understanding of multiple web application integration points, interdependencies, and standard data exchange and control protocols. Implements and maintains web-based applications, including trouble-shooting problems and working with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Should be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the web development field and have working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Java, JDBC, Spring, REST web services , JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX,PL/SQL, XML. UNIX-Shell Scripting and other programs necessary to dynamic Internet and web development. Keep in mind we primarily work with customer facing apps, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Angular JS/React JS type experience is a requirement

 

Requirements:

 

·         Experience with third party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols

·         Understanding of Internet software engineering principles and techniques

·         Proficiency with web servers, HTML authoring, web infrastructure

·         Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Java, JDBC, Spring, REST web services , JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX,PL/SQL, XML. UNIX-Shell Scripting , Apache, Oracle, Weblogic

·         Ability to trouble shoot and resolve technical issues

·         Ability to articulate both marketing and IT needs/issues to all groups

·         Knowledgeable of web technology skills

·         Good knowledge of eBusiness, eCommerce, and eMarketing techniques

·         Ability to interact well with team members and business users

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·         Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field and 6 to 8 years of information technology experience, including worked with web-based applications.
