The candidate will provide DevOps and systems administration support for Digital Technical Operations and will be responsible for systems administration, application deployment, server management, system/application monitoring, and managing migration to Continuous Integration using industry standard tools to AWS infrastructure.
TOP SKILLS
1. 3-5 years in DevOps Engineering in a AWS environment
2. 2-3 years' experience in using Jenkins for Automation
3. 2-3 years' experience in using Ansible for automation
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Traditional systems administration and application deployment,
• Managing servers and monitoring systems and applications in LEMP/Ruby on Rails stacks
• Managing migration to CI using industry standard tools to AWS infrastructure.
• Writes and orchestrates automation of tests in a Cl/CD environment
• Perform functional, integration, regression, multi-variant and performance testing on an as needed basis
• Sets up automated monitoring tools (e.g. pingdom, log analysis tools, new relic, etc.)
SKILL REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
• 5+ years proven experience administering machines in a cloud-based environment; Linux (Ubuntu 14) systems administration.
• Must be able to understand and use infrastructure automation tools (Ansible/Capistrano/ Jenkins).
• Experience with deploying and supporting several methods of serving applications (Apache, Nginx).
• Experience with source control system (Git)
• Knowledge of modern scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby)
