Position: Front-end Architect / UI Architect

Location: Pittsburgh PA

Position Need: Immediate



Key skills

· Advanced JavaScript (ES6, ES7)

· Angular JS

· HTML5

· CSS3

· Responsive Web Design



Responsibilities:



Provide front-end technical/architectural guidance for major front-end
components. Provide and document approaches that allow for reuse of
components across sites. Produce proof of concepts on approaches when
needed. Provides approaches and methodologies for testing and ways to
produce metrics on Web-UI code quality. Continually, assess and
review the current state of the CMS platform and provide both short
term and long-term recommendations on how to approach those
recommendations.



Required Skills:



• Extensive knowledge architecting Front-End frameworks.

• Advanced JavaScript (including DOM, object-oriented
JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, events, callbacks)

• Expertise in AngularJS, Bootstrap

• CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS

• Advanced knowledge of jQuery

• Solid understanding of web/usability/accessibility standards

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Expertise coaching front-end developers in standards
compliant, cross browser, and cross platform website and application
development.

• Expert organization and time management skills

• Expert oral and written communication skills

• Expert Interpersonal skills

• Ability to plan, execute and evaluate prototypes

• Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative and geographically
diverse environment

• Ability to work under time constraints or to a deadline

• can work with minimal supervision and with remote co-workers

• be passionate for building world-class products

• have a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
for your work

• have demonstrated prior career growth and a desire to
learn have a keen interest in emerging technologies



Nice to Have Skills



• Knowledge of web application lifecycle, MVC and other
design patterns

• Experience with unit and functional test cases using
Selenium and/or Jasmine
