Title: Data Modeller

Location: Sparks, MD

Visa: H1B

Rate: $40 per hour on C2C

Interview: Phone/ F2F

 

Work with Business & source system SMEs in gathering data requirements

·         Required 4-6 years experience as a Data Modeller

·         Document the data & systems requirements.

·         Review with App Dev leads and socialize with the developers and architects

·         Source system analysis

·         Source to target mapping

·         Create Logical & Physical Data model per EDW standards

·         Generate the DDL in R&D env and test it out

·         Review the ddl with DBA and lead DM

·         Apply the ddl on EDW schema in Dev, QA environments

·         Overview and review of the tables/views structure with developers

·         Create Replication DDLs & review with system DBAs

·         Assist developers in providing clarification on table structures during development & testing

·         Provide final ddl to release management team to apply in production upon sign off

·         Production deployment validation and provide post production support in regards to the tables/views created

·         Transition over to Associates & work with EDW Production support team on updating Production Run books, Operations guides, etc.
