Job description---Need locals for F2F Interview

·         Experience modelling a database is key (most candidates worked with others doing this, but they want someone who can take the Database, analyze it and design data models from scratch

·         They want someone who has actual hands-on logical and physical data modelling experience.

·         Someone who has experience using at least one of the Data Modelling tools, they use ER Studio at American Airlines

·         Must be able to create the design and the models with the plan provided from the Architect on the team

·         This group works more with the DataMart than the Data Warehouse, which is used for reporting Business Intelligence related to cargo with various apps connecting into this.  

·         Must have good com skills and be able to stand in front of a group and relate with the business

·         Expertise in development and maintenance of logical and physical data models along with best practices regarding metadata management.

·         Must demonstrate expertise in the development and maintenance of database procedures and triggers.

·         Must be able to propose and develop optimizations for existing physical data models•

·         Verbal and written communication skills.

·         Analytical and problem solving skills with ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives.

·         Experience in AGILE project management a plus.

Candidate must have 7 yrs relevant experience in the following areas:

·         Must have demonstrated expertise in development and maintenance of logical and physical data models along with best practices regarding metadata management.

·         Prefer experience using ER/Studio Data Modeler, but will also consider relevant experience with another enterprise modelling tool.

·         Must be able to propose and develop optimizations for existing physical data models and provide a rationale for proposed changes to an audience with varying knowledge regarding the data modelling process.

·         Must have a broad understanding of development and administrative best practices for either the Oracle or SQL Server DBMS.

·         Must demonstrate expertise in the development and maintenance of database procedures and triggers. Will consider relevant experience in either PL/SQL or Transact-SQL. PL/SQL experience is preferred.

·         Must be able to understand and translate business requirements into data models that support long-term business initiatives.

·         Must be able to work with application developers to properly maintain and enhance existing physical data models.

·         Must be able to engage a development team regarding best practices for DBMS development and SQL coding standards.

Qualification

Must Have

·         Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

·         Metadata Management and 5 Yrs.

·         Oracle and 7 Yrs. PL/SQL
