| MOI:: Telephonic followed by face to face Need only local candidate Must have 2+years Lead experience Key Responsibilities: Act as and/or work with functional QA Leads to develop a testing approach that will support continuous integration – develop manual and automated tests in parallel. Work with development leads and UAT leads to help getting them familiarized with the developed scripts, utilization and troubleshooting aspect. Analyze current suite of applications and focus on developing the applications assigned to this role for automation design, development and maintenance. Adhere to the standards with respect to tools, framework, scripting and versioning techniques as directed by Automation Architects and Technical QA Manager. Help with Automation requirements, test data requirements and documentation of technical limitations pertaining to applications under test. Lead automation test case design and code coverage reviews. Contribute in building a robust regression suite at enterprise level based on a solid automation framework. Work with onsite and offshore vendor resources in creating and automating reusable business-level tests that are easy to maintain even when underlying feature changes. Work closely with developers and capability managers to understand new features to automate their testing in multiple platforms. Develop Verification Strategy across different Products in the Suite. Raise the quality of the product by providing complete, quick, reliable, and easy to interpret script results and dashboard reports. Help building and maintaining automation lab onsite. Work with tool vendors in troubleshooting compatibility issues. Provide weekly status, work estimates and forecasts to the Automation Capability, PMs and QA Managers. Key Requirements/Skills/Experience Experience: • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering Development with focus on Quality Assurance testing and Automation Testing. • Experienced working in a DevOps model/Agile development methodology. • Solid experience with automation frameworks/tools using Selenium (with C# and/or Java preferred) and UFT. • Expert level experience in one or more scripting languages and/or programming languages like VB, Perl, TCL and Python. • Experience with web services and APIs and understanding of automated testing for web based API. • Demonstrated expertise with XML and related tools and technologies. • Ability to develop functional tests and automate them in parallel while following the testing standards and techniques (DevOps Model). • Experience in design and development of Automation frameworks and Automation Testing Strategies. • Has in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies. • Good understanding of QA methodology – test plans, test cycles, and software releases. • Solid understanding QA/Test Automation Best Practices. • Strong Knowledge of current industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices, Tools and techniques. • Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail • Passionate about pushing the envelope on current technologies and motivating others to adopt new development and testing methodologies. Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. CSTE/CSQA certifications preferred. QTP/UFT or related automation tool Certification preferred. |
