Job Title: QA Automation Engineer with C# Experience

Job Location: Hasting, MN (Local Only)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Business Overview:

• Looking for mid-level to senior automation engineer (2+ years exp) and the immediate position will be to automate API's using Web Test. But long term, he/she may automate UI systems and they may have to do some manual testing, although that would be minimal. 

• Also, must have Object Oriented programming experience. This role would be part of an Agile team of 3 developers and 2 QA that run 2-week sprints.

Summary

• Ability to establish the automation regression suite by converting manual to automation test cases. Ability to drive automation efforts to align overall automation strategy, approach and best practices and bring forward recommendations for improvements as needed

• Object oriented programming experience with C#, Java, or C++. Experience in coding/technical background and willingness and ability to learn new things

• Experience in agile technologies as well as using automated test tools for functional and/or performance stability, scalability and reliability testing using load testing tool is beneficial

• Ability to perform manual testing tasks such as writing and executing test cases, defect management and status reporting

• Record and Playback experience only is not acceptable; must have experience with code driven automation

• API automation

• Web automation

• Cross browser automation
