Title: Sr. Oracle DBA

LOCALS PREFERRED 

 

Primary Skills.  Oracle 11g, RAC,

Secondary Skills -Grid Control,  ASM, UNIX, CLUSTERING( veritas clustering)

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·  experience, as Sr Oracle DBA on all aspects of Oracle Database Administration in a large/challenging database environment on Linux platform running RAC.

·  Experience supporting internet/web based database applications with heavy concurrent user volume.

·  Install, Upgrade and manage Oracle Grid Control

·  Troubleshoot and resolve RAC and Veritas clustering issues in all database environments

·  Experience working on 10g/11g RAC database applications, Oracle TDE, OEM Grid control, RMAN.

·  Experience working on Golden Gate Replication is a Plus.

·  Strong verbal and written communication skills

·  Skilled in SQL statement tuning with detailed understating of AWR and StatsPack reports, database performance tuning.

·  Basic understanding of Connection pooling and middleware software like JBoss, JRun, Tom Cat, IBM Web sphere is desired.

·  Hands on Experience of implementing Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c database on Linux RAC platform is a must.

·  Willingness to work on-call DBA rotations in a 7x24 environment

·  Ability to perform professional level technical documentation and presentation.

·  Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with both internal associates and external customers.
