JOB DESCRIPTION:-

University degree in computer science, Bayesian statistics, or related fields

Agile Development experience

Development Technologies: Python, R, SQL, Spark, Pandas, Scikit learn

Familiarity with HAWQ and using PL/Python or PL/R to run predictive analytics in database

Intellectual curiosity – eagerness to learn new things

High ability to "data munge"

More than five years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or equivalent roles

Experience with unstructured data

Familiarity / experience with machine learning methods including:

KNN

Random Forest

Ensemble methods

Markov Chain Monte Carlo

Naïve Bayes

PCA / PCP – singular value decomposition

Understanding of version control – GitHub

Ability to effectively visualize and communicate analysis results
