– PL/SQL Database Developer
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The Database consultant must have strong PL/SQL developer skills.
The candidate should have knowledge of Oracle relational databases, stored procedures, views and functions.
This role requires someone that is analytical and interested in learning new skills and playing a collaborative role.
The ideal candidate should also be interested in understanding how the data is used by the business and understanding the data relationships.
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of and experience with PL/SQL scripting
- Ability to build Oracle stored procedures, functions, views
- Experience with TOAD
Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain load procedures
- Build and maintain extract procedures
- Document workflow in Product Tracker
- Work with DBA / SME to best architect new data tables
- Build ContentManager transactions for end users to view / manage content
Skills/attributes (must have):
- PL/SQL development
- Ability to build Oracle stored procedures, functions, views
- Ability to build SQL queries
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with TOAD or SQL Developer
- Desire to understand data relationships and business uses
- Take initiative
- Work autonomously
- Interest to learn new systems/tools
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
