Position Overview:

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

·  Provide day-to-day software development on one or more applications

·  Contribute as an individual or in a pair in a very agile development environment

·  Full stack development (Groovy/Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) of web applications

·  Debugging and triage of issues

·  Database development using the Liquibase tool

Skills Overview:

What are the MUST have skills that you are looking for in a candidate?

Required Experience 

·  Strong social skills 

·  6-10 years' experience

·  Experience developing Spring MVC and JPA (Hibernate) applications

·  Experience with Java

·  Comfortable with JavaScript

·  Experience with JUnit and/or Spock

·  RESTful service design and implementation using Spring MVC

·  Comfortable with the Unix command line interface

Bonus experience:

·  Pair Programming – nice to have, not a must have

·  Groovy or Ruby

·  Spock testing

·  Geb testing

·  Backbone.js or Angular experience

·  Experience with Chai or similar JavaScript testing frameworks

What are the technologies and the depth of the technologies that a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role?
