POSITION

ETL Informatica Engineer

Parsippany, NJ

Skype and F2F

6+ Months

 

MUST HAVE: ETL, Data Warehouse, SQL Server, Informatica, coding, Test Scripts,

Call Notes:

- Just implemented Oracle ERP – Financial EBS 12
- Working on most recent version of Informatica currently
- Integrating informatica with Oracle and other systems
- Must understand/know Informatica and be able to run test scripts and understand the business process

- Techno Functional Role
- Must be professional/Mature – will be the go to person
- Assisting with integrations
- Working with the Head of Data Integration
- Needs someone that can develop code
- Understand business process
- End to end testing
- Robustness and integration: how do you test, what kind of environment, etc.?
- Data encryption

- Environment:
- Microsoft Windows
- SQL – J Server
- Now integrating Oracle and Data warehouse (SQL Server SharePoint)
- Outsourced logistics – information is loaded into their systems – critical process – having the end to end experience is imperative

Formal Write up of role:
- We are developing a financial data warehouse connecting the Oracle ERP system with a SQL*server/ SharePoint analytics Data Warehouse. For Data integrations we use Informatica. Oracle runs in a LINUX environment. Rest is all Microsoft based.
- The ETL consultant should work under supervision of Manager Data Integration to create and maintain all ETL process between oracle and the data Warehouse. Various business rules need to be build-into the ETL environment.
- It's a very small team – meaning a person who understands end-to-end integrations and not just the Informatica tool.
