Role: Android Developer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 6 Months

 

Mandatory Skills:

·         5 to 7 years of development experience in Android platforms

·         Solid understanding of Core Java framework and Android SDK

·         Must have good knowledge and exposure to below skills - Android Application Development, Android User Interface Fundamentals (Activity, Fragments, Dynamic/Static Views/Layout), Android RPC Framework (Intent, Broadcasct Receiver), Android Storage Fundamentals (SQLite, Content Providers), Design Patterns, Data Structure and Operating System Fundamentals, AIDL and Service Framework

·         Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Good understanding of XML and JSON

·         Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, design patterns, coding standards and unit testing

·         Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Desired Skillset:

·         Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

·         Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

·         Familiarity with continuous integration

·         Experience working in an agile environment

·         Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

·         Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code

·         Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
