JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Duration:             6-12 months contract

Design and implement user facing web/mobile applications.

Build reusable, scalable code and libraries for future use.

Optimize implementation for performance and scalability.

Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, designers to build scalable solutions to improve user experience.

Lead and grow the current development team as necessary.

Provide expertise in peer design and code reviews.

Experience with Agile development, Scrum and/or extreme programming methodologies.

 

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant discipline is preferred.

6+ years of experience.

Passionate about mastering front end development.

Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5, ES6, NodeJS).

Good understanding of Functional programming, Async programming in JavaScript (Callbacks, Promises, etc)

Strong understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, KnockoutJS, etc.

Proficient understanding of CSS preprocessing platforms, such as SASS and LESS. Passionate about the latest best practice design and build approaches i.e. mobile first, modular, grid systems etc.

Working knowledge on front end build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, Webpack and Browserify.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Knowledge on unit testing tools like Jasmine, Mocha, Chai and end to end testing tools like ProtractorJS, PhantomJS.

Should be comfortable using graphical tools such as Photoshop or Gimp to crop, resize or perform small adjustment to imagery as required.

Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN.

Extreme attention to detail, excellent organization skills and efficient problem solver. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
