Senior F5/Load Balancing Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA / Chicago, IL / Plano, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

 

·         Must haves: F5 Load balancing experience and Firewall and/or Proxy

·         Knowledge of how to configure, support and troubleshoot F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM). This knowledge should include a solid understanding of the following:

·         Basic iRules functionality

·         High availability configurations

·         Load balancing algorithms

·         Health and performance monitors

·         Advanced acceleration techniques (TCP optimization, HTTP keepalives, caching, compression, and pipelining)

·         Basic understanding of global load balancing

·         Solid understanding of load balancers

·         Experience troubleshooting load balancers

·         Experience using network management tools and packet captures to resolve operational issues

·         Solid understanding of routing and switching

·         Basic knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management best-practices

 

Note: There are multiple shift times, please confirm the shift time you are comfortable with.

 

·         6:00am – 2:30pm

·         4:00pm – 12:30am

·         11:00pm – 7:30am

·         8:00am – 5:00pm 

 

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: F5, LTM/GTM, iRules, Viprion, ASM, Load Balancer,Load Balancing.
