BASIC FUNCTION
The QA Analyst for the PVMD Operations team will be responsible for
working cross functionality to ensure a high quality product. They
will work closely with the QA Manager, Development, Product Management
and subject matter experts to analyze and understand feature
requirements in order to devise a testing strategy that covers not
only the requirements but any ancillary scenarios. Exhibit innovation
around driving testing efficiencies to enable more breadth and depth
of testing. Primary responsibilities include creating, modifying, and
code reviewing automation test scripts. Major responsibilities in
building and maintaining test frameworks for Protractor (or Selenium),
Unit Test Frameworks and API testing. Weigh in on product design,
workflows and user stories

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure delivery of high quality work according to the quarterly
project schedule
• Work with scrum team and complete all assigned deliverables.
• Ensure all work conducted onsite and at offshore passes onsite
quality objectives defined by Quality Assurance Manager and the
Validation and Verification QSOP.
• Enter & Resolve WIs for identified defects
• Complete initial Root Cause Analysis for production defects
• Prepare and participate in acceptance testing
• Meet project deadlines and milestones. Communicate technical
concepts clearly and effectively.
• The individual may be exposed to private and confidential
information, including personal health information, and is expected to
adhere to company policies and all relevant laws regarding handling of
such information
• Write and maintain end to end API and integration tests


TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Quality Assurance Engineer profile
• Experience with unit test frameworks such as nUnit and xUnit
• C#,
• JSON, XML and experience with API Testing
• Experience building test automation frameworks such as Protractor or Selenium.
• Experience with JavaScript
• SQL/Oracle

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred or
equivalent work experience.

Experience:
• 6-8 years of IT experience
• 4+ years of development experience
• Experience with Selenium, Protractor, VBScript and JavaScript
• Understands different types automation frameworks and creating and
maintain new or existing frameworks as required.
• Proficient with Windows Server 2012R2, , Windows 7
• Experience with Citrix & VMware a plus
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle
• QTP experience a plus
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills required; need to be able to explain
technical issues and propose solutions
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Ability to work effectively internally and externally (vendors, customers)
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
