Description: In this role, you would:
• Be a part of an Agile team delivering solutions to millions of customers on a daily basis.
• Work within modern architectures and frameworks while experimenting with newer technologies and tools which better enable your teams.
• Collaborate with development teams experienced with these newer technologies, and be eager to share your expertise.
• Solve problems together with peer developers, product owners and scrum masters to truly satisfy prospective and existing customers.
• Our customer-centric approach is a cornerstone of our methodology and we need refreshing and sometimes disruptive new ways to best serve them.
• Experiment with new technologies while maintaining alignment with broader new and existing architectures, ideally contributing learnings towards definition and refinement of those architectures
• Develop effective, quality source code that satisfies customer needs with an exceptional experience
• Code, test and deliver iterative minimally viable product features towards target customer and business outcomes, whether brand new market products or enhancements to existing
• Collaborate and share in team success from continuous loop opportunity analysis, delivery approaches, implementation and customer feedback
• Continually enhance full delivery pipeline through automation, expanded yet increasingly efficient test coverage, ultimately optimizing time-to-market and quality
This role might be for you if have:
• Experience developing cloud-hosted, responsive, single page web applications using JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3
• High proficiency with client side javascript frameworks (preferably React/Redux), server side frameworks (preferably NodeJS) and NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB)
• Able to integrate with and managing APIs exposing microservices (REST, SOAP) including development and support of Java/JavaScript services
• Familiarity with event-based System of Engagement architectures
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
• Demonstrates active pursuit of optimizing CI/CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins/Bamboo, Mocha/Karma, etc)
• Ideally familiar with Design Thinking, Behavior and Test-Driven Development
• Familiarity with test-and-learn approaches using web and customer analytics data, understanding how these drive hypotheses-based development
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills with track record of taking solution ownership
• A Bachelors or Master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
