Job Description:

 

·         Deploy and support private cloud (compute, storage, networking) using Nova, Cinder, Swift and Neutron Openstack Components

·         Configuration, management and troubleshooting  of Virtual machines in the Openstack infrastructure

·         Manage Environments, Tenants, Users and Roles in openstack environment using Keystone Component

·         Centralized management of the openstack infrastructure using Horizon Dashboard.

·         Able to automate solutions for complex & repetitive problems in a cloud infrastructure

·         Evaluate & execute new components in OpenStack and facilitate transition from Pilot to Production environments

·         Provide visibility, traceability, accountability & metrics using Celilometer openstack component

·         Optimize cloud infrastructure utilization

·         Experience with various Hypervisors like vSphere, ESXi, KVM, etc.

·         Maintain vCenter and ESXi Infrastructure

·         Experience in vMotion. Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and High Availability (HA) configurations

·         Experience in vCenter centralized management application to manage virtual machines and ESXi hosts centrally

·         Proactively monitor event logs for changes or errors and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.

·         Manage available virtual and storage resources within the infrastructure environment

·         Experience in Configuration, management and troubleshooting for VMware Virtual Machines

·         Collaborate with project and client team members to meet time lines and goals

·         Create and maintain system documentation for updates made to the infrastructure environment
