Position: BI ETL Tester With ALM and Jira

Location: Birmingham, AL

Duration:6 months contract to hire

 

Healthcare Industry exp must

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Test Planning

·         Test Script Development     

·         Test Script Validation/Execution

·         Test Estimation

·         Reporting

 

Experience mandatory:

 

·         Experience in Business Intelligence – Data Warehousing Projects using  Agile Development Methodology

·         Experience with JIRA 6.4 or higher with EPICs and User Story(s) creation and/or updates into JIRA required

·         Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Version 12.20.378 or higher with experience linking HP ALM with JIRA

·         Experience in Testing ETL Jobs and Relational Database Testing using DB2 Data Stage from Stage, ODS, Warehouse and Data Mart

·         Experience creating test scenarios and test cases to measure numerators/denominators in Data Marts and mapping them into Requirements Traceability Matrix

·         Ability to interpret client excel files with operational and technical information (not in standard formats) and extract Test Cases

·         Ability to communicate verbally and understand written business and system requirements from technical or non-technical audiences

·         Understand how data and/or the flow of data supports Business Intelligence (BI) development projects

·         Healthcare knowledge with experience in payer operations (i.e., Care Management, Billing & Finance, Claims Processing, Customer Experience, Provider & Medical Management, Case Management Clinical knowledge, etc.)

·         Consulting/Client Presence

·         Ability to Facilitate and Lead Client Discussions & Formal Meetings

·         Move Client to Best/Leading Practice Approaches/Governance

·         Adept at bringing best practices, testing tools and a consultative approach to engaging clients    

·         Ability to develop Power Point presentations

·         Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Skype Business and WebEx      

·         Retains reliable transportation for on-site presence to and/or from client site

·         Must have experience working with a test team in an agile development environment.

·         Must have 5+ years QA experience in a high-tech environment.

·         Should be able to assist, identify Critical test flows which will confirm end to end testing

·         Should be able to communicate clearly with Client leadership team on progress / escalate issues

·         Should be able to strategize QA planning based  on the releases planned and optimize resources / time

·         Should be ready to work with Client teams and perform testing if there are critical needs

 

Experience preferred

 

·         One year experience with HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and HP Sprinter

·         Other testing tools Selenium, IBM Rational Functional Tester, HP Quick Test or comparable.
