Title: PHP Developer
Duration: 6 Months, Contract To Hire
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Need GC /USC /H1B
Job description:
Scope of Work: The Contractor will develop new features for our project management software. They will interact with internal and external resources to execute on technical solutions. The focus will be on backend development using PHP.
The Contractor will also be asked to:
• Write clean, maintainable code using modern MVC frameworks
• Collect and analyze research from end users and other teams to present
• Develop scalable and high-performance web applications
• Execute on deliverables in a timely manner
• Work closely with designers, other software engineers, Leadership, and Management
• Provide feedback and solutions that would improve department processes and or task deliverables
Required experience and skill:
• At least 4 of experience working with PHP
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• Experience with a broad range of web technologies
• Highly-skilled object-oriented developer
• Experience managing and performance-tuning databases
• Familiarity implementing 3rd party APIs
• Experience collecting and communicating requirements
