POSITION: Mobile ios Developer(MUST HAVE EXP WITH Imaging)

LOCATION: St. Louis, MO

DURATION:6 months+

 

MUST HAVE EXP WITH Imaging

 

Looking for a senior resource with excellent English language skills and quite a few of the desired skills also.

 

This role is specifically for the Mobile Imagery Platform that supports a wide variety of image workflows to enable better, faster decisions throughout the company.

 

Qualifications:

•           Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and 3 years of IT Industry experience

•           Mobile development (Swift, Objective-C, lifecycle of iOS apps, knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines)

•           Experience with iOS development concepts like Internationalization, peripheral integration, enterprise deployment, Core Data, mapping, mobile application security, automated testing

•           Experienced whole-stack developer

•           Experience working in a continuous delivery environment

•           Experience with test driven development

•           Experience creating RESTful microservices

•           Functional and object-oriented programming experience (especially Swift)

•           Experience with relational and non-relational data stores

•           Customer engagement including ideation, design thinking, and seeking rapid feedback

•           Take pride in software craftsmanship, diving deep into code and constantly innovating

 

Additional Desirable Skills:

•           Worked with imagery and/or video before

•           Understand unique challenges/capabilities of geospatial imagery

•           Cloud experience – AWS EC2, IAM, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS, RDS or equivalent technologies

•           Experience with search/analytics tools - ElasticSearch, Solr

•           Experience architecting, creating, and operating continuous delivery pipelines

•           NoSQL – Cassandra, Kafka, AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS RDS, Neo4J

•           Docker or other container deployment technologies

•           Cloud operation experience – running real workloads in the cloud and diagnosing and fixing problems

•           Cloud architecture – loosely coupled systems, fault-tolerance, HA, scalability

 

-           Mobile iOS—hands on experience

-           Need exposure to full landscape of development (end to end).

-           Top Technologies: native iOS (Swift) development targeting phones, iPads. There is some scope for Android development. Java, Scala is a plus.

-           Will have a lightweight code test in JavaScript or Java—more problem solving. Open to someone that has C#
