Title : Middleware Engineer

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

 

Strong experience on JBOSS 7 is a must have

 Must Have Skills:

•         Experience in building installing JBoss and Tomcat version

•         Build domains in JBoss and Tomcat server

•         Proficiency in using tools like puppet to layout/deploy domains

•         Automate scripting / building of domains and associated resources using scripts

•         Proficiency in setting up & configuring resources / scripting such as JMS, Clusters, JDBC

•         Expertise in Installing and configuring Apache web server

•         Proficiency in installing compiling apache with necessary plug-ins

•         Proficiency in using Unix/Linux/Solaris

•         Ability to debug deployment, performance and other issues related to JBoss/Apache/Tomcat

•         Analyze error/exception stack and help application team with debug / root cause resolution

•         Should be a US citizen with ability to clear NACL

•         Should have strong communication skills

 

Job Roles/Responsibilities:

•         Build and deploy Jboss/Tomcat domains

•         Understand existing server capabilities and build new server instances

•         Write and maintain scripts to layout domains and resources such as JMS, JDBC etc.

•         Analyze errors/exceptions/stack traces and help application team with resolving issues.

•         Profile JVM / application and debug / tune performance issues
