Title: Sr. SAP Project Manager EPPM/ SPSI

Location: San Francisco, CA 94105

Description:

·         They are looking for Senior Project Managers to manage the SAP tester team, as well as manage the WWT offshore SAP resources and onsite SAP tester and developer.

·         The SAP Senior Project Manager is responsible for management of multiple functional enhancement projects on behalf of EPPM Release 4 and SPSI Release 2 projects at PG&E.

·         These projects will vary from Major upgrades, Minor enhancement Releases (Monthly predominantly local or small global changes) and Continuous Improvement Releases (Quarterly predominantly global template updates).

 Responsibilities:

·         Successfully plan and execute projects to agreed schedule, budget and scope/requirements

·         Manage the relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management

·         Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project/work stream remains on track and in control

·         Plan for and manage change

·         Reports on progress and variances to the approved program/project baseline

·         Close the project to formalize acceptance of the project outcomes and release project resources Interface and communicate with project team management and stakeholders

·         Manage project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project/work stream

·         Perform appropriate quality processes

·         Delivery of project aligned to overall business and technology strategies and architectures

·         Work within defined governance processes

·         Manage external contracts and suppliers where required

·         Develop objectives, phasing and content of the project/work stream to deliver on the business case benefits, budget and timescales

·         Manage to the objectives and plan by thorough risk, issue and change management

Skills:

·         At least 7 years of professional experience as an SAP project / program manager, preferably in a consulting company

·         Business processes and SAP expertise resulting from the successful implementation of at least 3 major SAP projects

·         Deep knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodologies
