Job Title    :         Hepdesk Consultants

Location    :         Austin, TX

Duration   :         6 + Months

Rate           :        $15/hr

EAD, GC or USC only required. (Local consultants Preferred)

 

Required Skills/Experience:

1 or more years of industry experience in providing second or third line deskside support in companies of over 2000 employees

• Experience in deploying desktop solutions such as OS upgrades and application deployments

• Experience repairing Lenovo and Dell Hardware

• Experience supporting Windows 7, Office 2010, Outlook/Exchange 2010

• Experience with Active Directory and Exchange Administration

• Experience in supporting mobile device active synch (Android/IOS) and Blackberry

• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.

• Ability to communicate a technical message to a non-technical audience, focusing on managing customer expectations.

• Good problem solving, fault spotting skills.

• Experience in formal technical training of your IT peers or customers

• Experience in writing user documentation

• Experience in triage work with an IT organization

• Strong communication skills

• Must have Mac OSX experience (Intermediate to Advanced)

• Desktop lead or supervisor experience is desirable

• ITIL Foundations V.3 certification is desirable

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical discipline

 

Top 5 non-negotiable skills:
