Main Accomplishment:

The Java Developer will be responsible for monitoring the network performance and data traffic by gathering information proactively and troubleshooting any necessary issues.

 

Must Haves:

•              6+ years of experience with Java Development

•              Basic knowledge of MEAN Stack Development

•              Experience with SNMP (Simple Network Protocol Management

•              Design and implementation experience with Spring and Hibernate

•              Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems

•              Perl and Shell Scripting background

•              Excellent communication and written skills

 

Day-to-Day:

Looking for a strong Java Developer to monitor the existing network and maintain performance data. This team works in conjunction with the Reporting and Capacity Management Team & Analytical Team. The Java Developer will be working with both development teams and interfacing directly with customers, so they will have excellent communication and written skills. This resource will be working on 2 applications; a fault management application and an AT&T Service application that supports customer needs (i.e. TV services, wireless services). This role is 40% maintenance to the existing code and 60% new development.
