| Mode of Interview: Telephonic+ Skype Highly prefer candidates from pharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare solutions with FDA-21 CFR Summary: Primary responsibility will be to align with business/portfolio teams to jointly deliver projects in support of Baxter portfolio strategy. The Enterprise Infrastructure and Service (EIS) Project Manager would be assigned to all major and/or select smaller application projects that require EIS resources across multiple infrastructure disciplines. The project manager will work with overall Portfolio Project Manager to determine operational requirements and facilitate the definition of resources to meet project requirements (hardware, software, services, labor, costs, etc.). The EIS project manager will define, execute, and communicate the status of the infrastructure project plan and ensure alignment of all other EIS resources and partner team resources as necessary. The EIS project manager may act as the overall project manager for larger, more complex EIS projects, responsible for reporting on project status, issues, progress, budget, etc. to appropriate Service Owners and Leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accountable for medium/large projects, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate business acumen, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle complex problems, possess strong knowledge of project development processes and/or SDLC, have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities may evolve as the organizational strategy evolves. Candidates must be able to excel in ambiguity. 1) Manage project deliverables including technical solution, implementation, support, and quality. Understand and participate in multiple phases of project implementations on large projects. 2) Collaborate with Portfolio teams, Application Owners, Enterprise Architecture, and various EIS teams to prioritize work and schedules. 3) Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to standards/ regulatory requirements. 4) Interact with customers to understand their business and to anticipate needs based on business and technical knowledge. Education and influence others including project sponsors, other project managers, and project team resources. 5) Define and execute project plans and report project status, issues, progress, budget, etc. to the appropriate service owners/management including project review meetings and dashboards. 6) Provide direct supervision and mentoring of project team member's during the project. Provide project performance feedback. 7) Work closely with infrastructure service owners and application project managers to create a consistent and effective engagement methodology between EIS and Portfolio IT teams. Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of project development/implementation processes. • Solid presentation, oral/written communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. • Strong leadership, mentoring, and influencing skills. • Proven track record on delivering projects. Prudent risk taker. • Strong working knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle and project management processes. • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills, with solid understanding of Infrastructure technology and offerings. • Validation and Qualification experience preferred • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • Project Management Certification preferred. • 10+ years of systems experience including 3+ years of project leadership |
