CCNP/CCNA / _______ 2 years / _____ years   2 years / _____ years   2 years / _____ years   1 year / _____ years 1 year / _____ years	·         Active CCNP route/switch or CCNA Voice/Collaboration/Security preferred   ·         Prefer two years of telecommunications experience, including experience with advanced UC, ACD, FAX and Voicemail systems.   ·         Prefer two years of network administration experience, including experience with switching devices, firewalls, and VPN solutions.   ·         Prefer two years of experience with Cisco Communications Manager and Cisco Unity.   ·         Prefer experience with a call center environment.   ·         Prefer experience with Cisco networking equipment.
Years of each	Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ·         Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of telecommunications systems design; of network facilities and systems design; of computer operations systems and procedures; of voice and data network software and protocols; of problem-solving techniques; of data processing and telecommunications principles, equipment, procedures, terminology, standards, and wiring technologies; of network operating systems and technologies; and of Federal Communication Commission (FCC) policies and procedures. ·         Thorough understanding of data communications principles and practices, as well as experience working with major communications carriers and equipment manufacturers. ·         Knowledge of agency contracts, procedures, and related rules as they apply to voice and data communications tasks, initiatives, and projects. ·         Skill in the use of voice and data test equipment, personal computers, and applicable software. ·         Ability to work individually and in a team. ·         Ability to follow established procedures and assist in the development of new procedures. ·         Ability to assign or supervise contractors and vendors, to prioritize workload, and to ensure proper completion of work assignments. ·         Ability to plan, analyze, and implement voice and data network systems; to design and integrate telecommunications systems; to provide technical assistance related to telecommunications systems; and to review telecommunication system plans for completeness and accuracy. Uses all knowledge, skills and abilities to apply critical thinking to all aspects of the job. Critical thinking is a process of forming reasoned opinions through observation, information collection, interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation, and other skillsnecessary to successfully
	Special Requirements/Work Environment ·         Work is performed in an office environment and requires appropriate business attire. ·         Must be able to lift and carry loads weighing up to 35 pounds. ·         Occasionally works in crawl spaces and maintenance areas such as equipment closets and plenum areas; occasional moving and climbing of ladders. ·         This position may require access to privileged, confidential, or sensitive data.
