1) A good data architect has more long term (around 2 years) projects than short term ones
2) A good architect usually does not take work as a systems analyst or data analyst. They enjoy architecture.

Position: Infrastructure Security Enineer
Location Manassas, VA
Must Have
- Strong Unix/Linux Security: Knowledge of available controls and Hardening systems in compliance with standards – knowledge of controls such as CIS benchmarks
- Knowledge of Host-based security tools in Unix environment (e.g. HIDS, FIM for Unix)
- Web-app security
- Knowledge of SSL/PKI
- Knowledge of LDAP & Kerberos based authentication at Unix and App level, federated authentication methods such as SAML, Multi-Factor-Auth technologies
- Fundamentals of NW Security
- Compliance and Risk assessment experience
Desirable
Database hardening best practices
Specific experience in securing large scale infrastructure automation is a plus (e.g Ansible Tower, Cloudforms, SDN infrastructure such as OpenStack)
