Position: Sr .Net Lead with AngularJS experience
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ Months

Application Overview: Our Client is focused on developing new service offerings and technology solutions that as help them to deliver c-level services to clients. This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a cutting edge and innovative start-up environment within a large consultancy.
Position Overview: The .Net lead will be responsible for leading design, analysis, development, implementation of service oriented applications, and providing support for existing systems. The Lead should be able to work independently and lead a team of developers to deliver end-to-end solutions for moderate to complex projects in a fast-paced environment, and be able to report on projects status to the senior leadership team within the organization. The role is expected to lead/mentor teams of internal professionals and contractors (including offshore contractors), providing formal and informal training and regular hands-on assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain software services using the technology stacks including .NET MVC, frontend frameworks such as AngularJS, enterprise messaging frameworks, and SQL and NoSQL technologies.
· Leading architecture and design activities, working with peers to carry out code reviews and unit testing of new development, and working with other development teams to ensure a consistent approach to software development
· Interact with business analyst/Client(s) to understand business problem(s) being addressed by the project.
· Mange a team of onshore/offshore internal professionals and contractor resources, providing technical leadership/guidance/mentorship (direction setting and articulating, consensus building, conflict mediation, etc.)
· Prepare technical design documents using enterprise standard documentation tools.
· Deploy all integration artifacts to a testing and production environment
Qualifications:
· 8+ years' experience building applications, including browser-based consumer/client-facing applications with exceptional design skills
· Experience with .NET, JavaScript MV* frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Emberjs, BackboneJS, KnockOutJS), and ASP.Net, C#, Ajax, ADO.net
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, business/technology, or a related field
· Knowledge of design and architectural patterns including microservices architecture and Web API 2.0 REST
· Experience with Agile Scrum development process
· Familiarity with popular IOC (inversion of control) containers such as Unity or Castle Windsor
· Experience with source control, Microsoft Excel-based reporting from web applications, SQL Server 2012/2014; and database design, querying, stored procedures, views, joins, performance, etc.
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Available to travel up to 30% of your time
Preferred:
· Certified Scrum Developer
· Experience with Qlikview, Tableau, SharePoint, SSIS and/or tax experience
· Tax industry experience
· An advanced degree
· Prior Big 4 experience
