Title: Java Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Need USC/GC/EAD/TN/E3 candidate Only

Summary:

·         Summary: 3+ years of Java programming experience with common data structures

·         Experience working on Distributed Systems Platforms (DSP – for software, not hardware!! – largest pain point so far) and Supply Side Platforms (SSP) and low latency systems

·         Testing and debugging experience

·         Clear communication

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 6+ year relevant work experience 

·         Experience integrating Supply Side Platforms (SSPs) traffic with BrightRoll DSP would be a huge plus! *Note: We CANNOT pull talent from BrightRoll

 

Day-to-Day Summary

We are working on a SSP integration project and need a consultant to come in and assist in the building of Business Logic into SSP data structures in Java. With currently 2 million request per second and 15 seconds to respond on our web platform, he or she much be a strong performer in backend development, optimizing command performance, and debugging.

Detailed Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use. Serve as technical expert on development projects.

 

·         Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis, design and writing technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.

 

·         Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.

 

·         Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

 

·         This is a career-Level position within field. Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.

 

Requires experience and proficiency in discipline. Conducts complex work important to the organization under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment
