Jersey City, NJ or NYC, NY

6+ Months

Must have: Network administration (DNS, Load balancing, and VPN) Exp, if they don't have this, need not apply.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Information Science/Technology , Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

3+ years of experience in a system administration/engineering position

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated proficiency in systems administration (Windows/Linux) and network administration (DNS, Load balancing, and VPN).

Strong understanding of the application stack (HTTP protocol, load balancing, proxies, REST)

Experience with at least one of the following languages (Java, .NET, Ruby, Python, Perl)

Experience with automation frameworks such as Puppet/Chef

Knowledge of best practices in release management

Solid networking knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication, analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills
