Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Positions: 2
Minimum 12+ years of Experience required
Local to California Candidates preferred.
H1 Copy must be submitted
(Less Experience & H1 VISA Transfer cases…. Please do not submit)
Responsibilities:
- Respond to database bugs encountered. Undertake patching and testing.
- Experience with Oracle 11G databases.
- Transition of new Oracle database systems into production.
- Configuration and management of Oracle monitoring database monitoring with an emphasis on Active Data Guard monitoring
- Experience with Oracle 12c Cloud Control.
- Experience with Oracle database management on UNIX systems.
- Skilled in UNIX shell scripting.
- Experience with PL/SQL and SQLPlus programming, including report optimization - advice on corrective action for poorly performing SQL.
- Experience with database backup and recovery using Oracle RMAN.
- Perform in-house Oracle security audits and address vulnerabilities where required.
