JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Role name  Database Administrator

Role Description

• Data Governance Lead

1. 12+ years of experience in the data management space, minimum 3+ years of experience in running a data governance and stewardship process.

2. Strong Understanding and practice knowledge of data management discipline, data domains, data management tools and practices

3. Closely work with the business for · Creating policies, standards and guidelines · Defining the data governance process, operationalizing it and defining a balance scorecard to articulate the benefits from data governance process. · Create awareness/training on data governance stewardship process, deliverables, benefits to all the stake holders involved

4. Lead would be responsible in Working with the Data Stewards team to operationalize the data certification process. Data certification process would contain defining data definitions to critical data elements, change management of data assets and capturing data quality issues

5. Lead / Participate in meetings with Data Management Council chair, business, data owners and data stewards to define priorities, data categories, resolve data conflicts and finalize the impacts on data category

6. Serve as primary liaison between the Data Governance Office and IT System Owners to provide required support for Profiling, lineage development, metadata management etc. Effectively escalate and communicate critical client data issues to the Data Governance Steering Committee.

7. Strong leadership skills, team player and demonstrated ability to present recommendations to senior management. Persuasive team player who can negotiate with and influence a wide range of business and technology stake holders
