Tableau Server Admin
Location: Foster City
Exp: 3-5YEAR
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay rate: $50
Job Description:
Tableau Server Admin consultant required to build HA environment for Tableau Server deployment for high visibility project. The existing deployment on a single-server needs to be reconfigured to include additional servers to provide high availability.
The consultant should demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
· Approximately 3-5 years of hands on Tableau Server Admin experience
· Experience with complex/ large scale installations and architecture, automation and working with functional teams like DB teams, network, storage
· Knowledge of databases, warehouses, business intelligence systems, Hadoop, SQL and data analysis tools
· Experience with defining solution architecture to meet project and enterprise platform requirements, including high availability, scalability and security criteria
· Strong problem solver with deep critical thinking skills
· Experience with Tableau performance, data extracts and usage data
· Hands on experience with SAML configuration
· Strong understanding of Tableau user and group security configuration
· PowerShell or other scripting experience for custom monitoring and PostGres reporting
· Experience with Tableau REST API
